Why The Curriculum Coach?
Hi, I'm Sian. I am a primary school teacher with over 11 years of experience, mainly in maths.
I spent four years as a Maths Lead, working with the NCETM. I specialize in the spiral mastery curriculum, inspired by Shanghai’s methods, and use these techniques within the UK curriculum to build students’ understanding of numbers.
In a previous role as Maths Lead in a struggling school, I improved student progress through strategic planning and mastery learning. My work was praised by Ofsted for leadership and positive results.
I am passionate about helping children gain confidence and fluency in Maths and now focus on developing their problem-solving skills using a proven spiral approach.
