The Curriculum Coach - Terms & Conditions - 2026/27

Thank you for choosing our tutoring programme. These Terms & Conditions set out the arrangements for payment, attendance, cancellations and participation.

1. Programme & Fees

The tutoring programme is delivered through online group sessions, with a maximum of 4 students per group.

The programme fee is £135 per month for the duration of the 10-month programme.

Payment will be made by standing order on the 28th of each month. A reminder email will be sent to parents/guardians ahead of the payment date.

By securing a place, you are agreeing to the monthly payment arrangement and to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Cancellation

The programme is designed to provide consistent support throughout the academic year.

Parents/guardians may cancel their place at any time. However, at least two weeks' notice of cancellation is requested so that the place can be offered to another student.

Once a monthly payment has been made, no partial refunds will be provided for unused sessions, missed sessions or cancellation part-way through a payment period.

Cancellation does not entitle the student to a refund for the remainder of a month that has already been paid.

3. Missed Sessions

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled group session, no refund, credit or reduction in the monthly fee will be provided.

There are also no individual catch-up sessions for missed group classes.

Students will have access to the relevant session notes and/or class materials so that they can review the work covered.

6. Student Participation

Pupils are expected to actively contribute to sessions and engage appropriately with the tutor and other students. Pupils should:

Attend sessions on time.

Have their required materials ready.

Participate in discussions and activities.

Follow the tutor's instructions.

Behave respectfully towards other students.

Have a suitable environment for learning.

The small-group format relies on students being willing to participate. Consistently disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in a review of the student's place on the programme.

7. Technology & Internet Connection

As sessions are delivered online, parents are responsible for providing:

A suitable device.

A reliable internet connection.

A working microphone and camera where required.

A suitable, quiet environment for learning.

Technical difficulties caused by the student's own device, internet connection or home environment will not normally result in a refund or replacement session.

8. Tutor Cancellation

If a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled by the tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.

Where a session cannot be delivered, an appropriate alternative arrangement will be offered.

9. Payment & Standing Order

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that the standing order is correctly set up and that sufficient funds are available.

If a payment is missed or the standing order fails, the parent/guardian will be contacted and payment should be made as soon as possible.

Repeated missed payments will result in the student's place being suspended or withdrawn.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal information will be handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable UK GDPR and data protection legislation.

Information relating to students and families will only be used where necessary for the administration and delivery of the tutoring programme.

11. Changes to the Programme

Reasonable changes may occasionally be made to session times, content, platforms or programme arrangements where necessary.

Parents/guardians will be informed of any significant changes affecting their child's sessions.

12. Exam Preparation Disclaimer

Tutoring sessions will be planned and adapted to meet each student's individual learning needs and to support their preparation for their relevant examinations.

Where appropriate, sessions will include practice with exam-style questions, techniques, question structures, time management and topics relevant to the examination specification.

However, while every reasonable effort will be made to prepare students thoroughly, we cannot guarantee which specific questions, topics or question styles will appear in an examination. Examination papers are determined by the relevant examination board and are outside the tutor's control.

Tutoring and exam preparation are therefore intended to improve the student's knowledge, understanding, confidence and examination technique, but cannot guarantee a particular grade, result or the appearance of any specific question in the examination.

Students are expected to engage consistently with sessions, complete any recommended work and take responsibility for their own preparation alongside the support provided through the tutoring programme.

Accuracy of Notes, Materials & Resources

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all notes, learning materials, resources and information provided as part of the tutoring programme are accurate, relevant and up to date. However, despite our best efforts, there may occasionally be errors, inaccuracies or omissions in the materials provided. By using our tutoring services and accessing the materials provided, you acknowledge that you should not rely solely on these resources without seeking clarification where necessary. Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to ask questions and verify any information they are unsure about with the tutor. If you identify an error or believe that information requires updating, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can review the material and make any necessary correction or clarification.

We will always endeavour to correct identified errors promptly and ensure that our resources remain as accurate and useful as possible.

Results & Outcomes Disclaimer

Our classes, tutoring programme and learning resources are carefully designed to be exam-focused and to support students in developing their knowledge, understanding, confidence and examination skills. Our aim is to help every student make meaningful progress and work towards reaching their highest potential.

However, we cannot guarantee any specific grade, examination result or academic outcome.

Individual results will vary depending on a range of factors, including but not limited to:

The student's existing knowledge and understanding.

Attendance and consistency.

Engagement and participation during sessions.

Completion of independent study and recommended work.

Study habits and preparation outside of tutoring sessions.

The student's individual learning needs and circumstances.

The level of effort and dedication demonstrated by the student.

External circumstances and factors outside the tutor's control.

By using our services, you acknowledge that tutoring is intended to provide guidance, support and preparation, but does not guarantee a particular grade or result.

13. Agreement to Terms

By booking a place on the programme and setting up payment, the parent/guardian confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms are intended to ensure that the programme operates fairly and consistently for all families while providing students with a positive, focused and supportive learning environment.
